American Tire Recycling Group LLC, a solution for the environment
A new tire recycling plant is being installed in Southern Florida that will generate 45 new jobs and ensure that more tires will be recycled through a safe and environmentally friendly process.
American Tire Recycling is nearing the end of its major upgrades to its Miami facility in preparation the grand opening of its new scrap tire processing operation. These upgrades have positioned the plant to be a leader in recycled products such as Rubber Mulch and Crumb Rubber.
The new plant will process up to 3,000,000 tires per year producing multiple rubber products, fiber and steel. The crumb rubber produced will be used to manufacture finished consumer goods including rubber pavers, flooring, playground surfacing and landscaping material. American Tire plans to sell the steel and fiber by-products to other recycling markets.
In the 80,000 square foot warehouse American Tire has installed technologically advanced equipment that will be working 20 hours a day. This plant will provide a higher quality of living for the people of Southern Florida by reducing the environmental pollution from scrap tires.
American Tire Recycling will begin operations on the February 1, 2012 making it the first full-scale tire recycling facility in Southern Florida.
Our office headquarters and processing facility are open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
